MWM Systems host their own Content Management System (known as CMS) for the use of their clients. In layman’s terms, the CMS enables you to edit your own site from your own office, without any input from MWM. Users have their own unique logins, so that they can add information from any site with internet access (eg – if you have some vital information from a show, you can upload it from an internet café, rather than leaving site.) The system is totally secure preventing any misgivings when utilising these benefits.
We can arrange certain members of staff to have access to all areas of the site, and other staff to only have access to certain areas: we believe that this simplifies the process and ensures the site runs smoothly, with responsibilities clarified.
The system is simple to use, and improves productivity: documents can be uploaded into the CMS without lengthy editing. This means the site is likely to be updated more regularly, which will encourage members of the public to view the site more often. Navigation links and pages can be added and removed by yourselves whenever you need to: this will alter the look of the site, and improve the end user’s experience. MWM will train you to use the system to its maximum benefit, (this usually takes less than half a day) and we are available during office hours if you have any questions.
The fact that the CMS is managed by your staff has two major benefits in our opinion: firstly, you are in control, and not beholden to an external company for updating the site; and secondly because MWM is not responsible for day to day processing, the costs are reduced significantly. In addition, secure logins are your responsibility; if for any reason you wish to amend staff access to the site, this can be done immediately.
From our experience, lack of accessibility can be a frustrating issue; we know that with our system, you will be in control of uploading, so that issue will be resolved from the onset. In effect, MWM will provide you with the picture frames, and it is your responsibility to change the contents whenever you see fit. In certain areas, (such as the ‘home’ page, for example) we can make certain items static, so these cannot be altered, but we will ask your guidance on this.
Pictures can also be uploaded into the CMS, and having the experience of www.suzuki-racing.com we understand the importance of press quality photographs. We believe our CMS is easy to use, and makes our sites up to date and smart – all the ingredients to make the public return again and again to your site!
